Terms of Use

The short version: Use QuizzerAI to study your own materials. Don't reverse-engineer it. Subscriptions are billed through Apple.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using QuizzerAI ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms are between you and Huseyin Ataseven ("Developer", "we", "us").

2. Description of Service

QuizzerAI is an educational productivity app that uses on-device AI to generate flashcards from scanned textbook pages, lecture slides, and handwritten notes. All processing occurs locally on your device.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use QuizzerAI. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Free Tier and Subscriptions

QuizzerAI offers a free tier that allows you to create up to 20 AI-generated flashcards at no cost, with no time limit. For unlimited flashcard creation, optional paid subscriptions ("QuizzerAI Pro") are available:

Weekly Plan: Billed weekly through the App Store
Yearly Plan: Billed annually through the App Store

All subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Key subscription details:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies

5. Permitted Use

You may use QuizzerAI for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
Use the App to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to bypass or circumvent subscription restrictions or the free card limit
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by the Developer and protected by intellectual property laws. The flashcards you create using the App are yours — we claim no ownership over your study content.

7. Content You Scan

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan and use any materials you input into QuizzerAI. The App processes your scans locally and does not distribute them. The Developer is not responsible for any copyright infringement resulting from materials you choose to scan.

8. AI-Generated Content

Flashcards generated by QuizzerAI's AI are produced by on-device machine learning models. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should verify the accuracy of generated flashcards, especially for important exams or professional study. The Developer makes no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

QuizzerAI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, academic outcomes, or study materials.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Active subscriptions should be cancelled through the App Store before uninstalling.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an App update. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
